Two Sides to Muslim-Jew Issue

I saw this item in a paper about David Ben-Gurion. He, revered as one of Israel’s founders and first prime minister, made this statement:

“If I were an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: We have taken their country…We come from Israel, but 2000 years ago, and what is that to them? There was anti-semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz but was that their fault? They only see one thing: We have stolen their country. Why should they accept that?”

So open your minds a bit and see that there are really two legitimate sides to this sad story. David Ben-Gurion, in spite of his position as a leading founder of Israel, even he understood the position of his sworn enemies.

Good post. Makes sense. No name calling. Great - I knew you could do it if you wanted to.

Gee, thanks Lou. It is however just an edited version of what I posted earlier on the Feedlot. It however got a rise out of some of the boys and I got slagged a bit. But that's ok. I like lively discussion.

I know that we do not always see eye to eye but one thing is sure. Recommend you delete the spam; this anonymous has to go!

I was looking around to see how to delete and I can't find it, I must be blind. Since we use the same template, can you direct me how to delete? It seems to me there is a deletion on one of the posts already but now I can't for the like of me, find it.

HELP!!!
