Two Sides to Muslim-Jew Issue

I saw this item in a paper about David Ben-Gurion. He, revered as one of Israel’s founders and first prime minister, made this statement:

“If I were an Arab leader, I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: We have taken their country…We come from Israel, but 2000 years ago, and what is that to them? There was anti-semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz but was that their fault? They only see one thing: We have stolen their country. Why should they accept that?”

So open your minds a bit and see that there are really two legitimate sides to this sad story. David Ben-Gurion, in spite of his position as a leading founder of Israel, even he understood the position of his sworn enemies.
